CEEDER IN JORDAN

Hello everyone,

The MC in Jordan, has asked me to introduce myself, and also talk about my experience in Jordan so far, so here it goes...
OK, so... all my aiesec "career" (if you can call it that) has been in the U.S. , however, I am from the awesome country of Spain (Basque Country, for the intelligent people). I was an aiesecer at the University of Michigan, which gave me the chance not only to develop myself and learn about Aiesec, but also to meet some incredible people and thanks to one of those I am here in Amman (Jordan) today (thanks Amber). But let´s not talk about the past... so how is Jordan? Well, I´ve been here for 10 days and it´s been amazing. The MC is doing a great job and the results are there... over 230 applications for membership... So what else can I say, I´m really excited to be here.
What am I doing as a ceeder? I´m here for two months to help Oksana a little bit with People Development, coaching the candidates in the induction process, and how they can get the best out of Aiesec. So far I have no crazy stories, although I got a really funny feedback comment from somebody in one of the groups, but I can´t share it with you until my next posting.
The culture is amazing, we are in the middle of Ramadan, and so at night the city of Amman is full of people walking around and all the shops and restaurants are open till midnight.
I live in an appartment that has a huge balcony with an awesome view, I literaly sit there for hours, reading or just simply staring at the view.
So, that´s a bit about me and what I´m doing, I´ll be posting again as soon as I have something more concrete to say, specially about the country and the first aiesecers of Jordan.
Thanks for reading this,

Asier
