On Team

Coming from different countries & various backgrounds we still share one thing in common – our passion for AIESEC and ambition for AIESEC in Jordan.

Starting from the first days we have been spending a lot of time of getting to know each other better, preparing to work as a team, starting off.

Some facts about us:
- We speak 14 languages
- We have visited more than 20 countries & have been to all the continents, except Australia
- We have 12 years of AIESEC Experience
- …and each of us lived for more than 9 months in a country abroad

We love discussing everything we learn every day about Jordan & Middle East. In the evenings we have regular lessons of Arabic language, trying to pursue this hard skill to its best!

We are outgoing, love fun and changes.

Each of us is now in the defining period of life when the time has come to finalize our vision for the future. This leads us to a lot of long discussions about personal mission, talents and aspirations.

Besides working in a totally different culture, we take the most out of the opportunity to learn from each other - Ukraine, Slovakia & USA. And this makes the whole experience even more unique!

On Amman

Amman as a typical world’s capital is a huge city, with lots of super modern shops, hectic lifestyle and never ending traffic.

However, at the same time some parts of Amman keep the old traditional part of what we call Arabic welcome!

Among the white houses, and the sights of yellowish desert tress you can feel the atmosphere which catches your heart and makes the whole experience so much more special.

It is so much also about the people. They have time to stop and talk to you, ask you where you are from, discuss latest events and try to teach basic Arabic.

Especially downtown seems to bear this exceptional welcome which makes every single walk around the market or Roman theater or Amman Castle so delightful.

Every day free of regular work we go to the downtown & enjoy the feeling there.

Some favorite places of ours which you should definitely put on your agenda when you come here for a conference or CEED:

Eco-Tourism Café, which has actually little in common with nature reservations or any other similar matter. On the other hands, it is a splendid place located in the heart of Amman, with the flags of different counties on its walls & delicious mint tea.

Hashem, ever popular traditional food restaurant; probably the oldest in Amman, but it’s always winning our hearts when compared to any other fancy place.

Ammoun café, a hidden place close to the busy main road, which offers finest coffee, tea and warm atmosphere, among …the TREES! (Quite rare in the deserted city like Amman)

These are the places to which we’ve been coming over and over again in the first weeks of our stay here.

Support for AIESEC

Since the beginning of our job here, it seems that there is a great need for such an organization as AIESEC. Just as young people here need the international experience & leadership skills, so as companies need to have international exposure & bring Jordan to the world, and world to Jordan.

Our biggest supporter here is Mr. Walid Al Tawil, Board member of Jordan Chamber of Industry, and the Chairman of our Supervisory Group.

We would like to thank him a lot for being a person who strongly believes in the idea of AIESEC, provides us with the network & advice, and is simply a great friend.
