One Amazing Conference

Hello everyone , this is Mahmoud Shadid Leader of the marketting team in BtG LC Irbid , I just wanted to say how great , enthusiastic , creative , emotional the past 2 days were.
I mean starting with the first day , the reunion, all AIESECers in Jordan in one place again ,the dance I did with Aseel and Ellen for being late, Asier back in the game ;), the elections ( speeches, questions and voting ) in which I would like congratulate Oksana and Momani for winning and saying hard luck to Hassan and Heba better luck next time .
And the next day I was late due to regestraion thing , the trainings we had were pretty intersting each with thier team, implementing the meetings we were suppose to have with companies , playing the role of the cold manager with the I dont give a sh** about what your saying attitude ( really really sorry for that ) , and how Oksana kept telling us to lower our voice a little , and farewell gathering at the end were we had to send a message to the Netherlands on AIESEC and I think we did that prety good , and most wonderful part " suger cubes " , some people you write suger cubes others its a one for one thing , but for the some special people writing is not enough, you have to go and tell them how inspiring they are .
All in All it was a wonderful experience , getting to know the AIESEC people more , morking with them on a closer basis ...etc .
I would relly like to thank all those who came to conference for making it a reamarkable one , but especially i would like to thank Tamara who did a fantastic job in organizing the event ( although the food really ****** ) but it was a great effort on her beside

My Very First Post...

Hello,
My name is Leen. I am currently the Marketing Team Leader of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PBOX. I would like to talk a little bit about me first!!! I come from a family of 6(two sisters and one brother), I loooooooooove good Drama Movies and I want to become a movie director one day(I AM GOING TO). However, first I need to have a career that would assist me financially so I am currently studying Economics(which reminds me that I have to study for my FINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!). I graduate after two weeks. It's very exciting that I am going to embark upon somthing so new to me(real life), but it is also filled with sadness...

However, this post is about my first business phone calls and faxes through AIESEC. For those of you who don't know, our team has a questionnare about CSR practices and understanding that we need to send out to 300 companies. I have to admit that I was VERY tense that first phone call (even the woman I was talking to told me to slow down!!). After that things went very smoothly, I was extremely confident... So I sent some faxes and I can't wait till I send some more...

This is it for now because as I said I need to study if I actually expect to graduate in one peice... So, expect to read a LOT more from me in the near future!
