Glimpes of Jordan Official Extension :)

Legislation, legislation, yes, yes ,yes!

Hard work = good results = more impact!

'JORDAN TO BE ACCEPTED AS OFFICIAL EXTENSION'!!!!

It's MOVING!!!

Long time no posting here...I have to take up the responsibility to let the world know about our news!

So many things have happened in the last months:
- Moni, Ani & Oksi at IPM!
- Jordan legislated as official expansion!
- Things are moving...

Jordan was represented for the first time at the International Presidents Meeting in Cairo (February 2007)!!!

After half year of hard work, committment from MC & members our dream became a reality. Jordan became one of the most successful expansion initiatives in the network, and was embraced by rest of AIESEC countries into global organization!
Honestly, can hardly explain to you how great it felt to represent Jordan at IPM. So many people approaching, asking questions, telling how much they want to come for a visit, sharing their impressions, wishing us luck and inspiring us for more and more results.

Netherlands - our partner country - has been most supportive at this conference! Thank you, guys! We can achieve so much together!

AIESEC Official Extension in Jordan

Needless to mention, how exciting were the moments at the legislation, when we heard 'Jordan to be accepted as official extension' and then huge round of acclamation!!! I still have shivers when I think about those times! Netherlands, Germany, Pakistan saying their 'VOTE FOR' speeches which touched our hearts & showed how much support we have accross the network. So many countries approaching me after the voting, hugging and telling how much they wished more time was given so they could have expressed their 'VOTE FOR'...

Things are moving...

Last two days I spent in Irbid, meeting with members, having conference preparation with the first OC of National conference in our LC office, chilling out in relaxed Irbid, spending some time with myself and my thoughts.
One Friday I also attended LC meetign of Amman LC, talking about conference, discussing importnat issues and simply having good times together.

And I have to tell you this: it is INCREDIBLE! Our members might not realize yet but they have developed soooo much...Just so much! When I think back to the november when they were recruited, all those months of PBOX planning, team building, getting to know each other, figuring out how this crazy AIESEC works, leaving, joining back again, going through exciting times, through frustrating times, and...guys, IT IS MOVING!

So much more confidence, so much more commitment, so much more understanding, so much more ownership. It starts to feel like real AIESEC over here!

Excited. Simply excited.
